Today I got to go to the Apple offices in Midtown Manhattan.
Free note pad with shiny metal pen. Basically I went and listed to their techno people explain podcasts and how amazingly easy they are to make. It was pretty informative.
May least favorite part was the that the techno guy kept saying to report bugs to to this bug report place but the thing is you have to sign up for a developer account to report the bugs. Its free but people just want to report bugs not get emails about apple developer updates and stuff. I'm sure you can opt out of the extra emails but I told them I thought it was dumb to suggest bug reporting without warning that you'll need to stop and sign up to do that. Bug reporting is usually based in the immediate need to tell people that something is bugging you. They add that extra layer to stop that I guess....
Back to podcasts... I doubt we'll be able to get it started because it will really require the professors to care and they definitely don't seem to have the time to care to do anything. Especially not to make reservations for the f'n video equipment.
