In other news I am losing my mind because of how dumb people are being about this election. Seriously? You want to vote for the guy who has gone back on every position he has ever held to work with the scummiest gross elements of the republican party to get elected. Who picked a person he obviously knew very little about and only met once be his VP. Sweet baby Va-Jay-Jay this country has gone done lost it's cotton pickin' mind!

I watched the entire RNC last night and thought it was awful. Mainly without any focus on any issues. Mainly a lot of patriot nonsense and terror reminders. Like I need to be reminded of the Oklahoma City bombing... WHY?! But at the end of McCain's speech when he was done with his little "by the way did you hear I was locked up in Vietnam for a while" speech he was really trying to get the crowd going. He just thought it was really odd sounding. It really made me think of Churchill saying "We will fight them on the beaches, we will fight them in the trenches... etc" with that old timey radio crackle. This is NOT in a good way. It just sounded old.
