For 8 years I served as the audio visual manager and recorded live events producer for the Graduate School of Architecture, Preservation and Planning (GSAPP) at Columbia University. Managing a staff of graduate students and one full time employee, we recorded twice weekly discussion series as well as symposiums, conferences and other events. Most events occured in the Wood Auditorium on the main Columbia University campus. Using a controllable two camera system and computer scaler we were able offer a wide amount of coverage for the events including presentations and discussion panels. We used a live titler to add graphics to the recordings and produced archival DVDs. Below is a small sample of the hundreds of events I was charged with recording.
