As the creator and producer of Lou Reads the Internet for YOU!, I developed a long-running podcast that combined voice performance, sound design, and editorial storytelling to deliver immersive, character-driven audio experiences. Throughout nearly 200 episodes, I honed skills in vocal delivery, pacing, editing, and audio engineering—all within the framework of a solo production.
Originally launched in 2009, the show gained a dedicated following for its distinct tone and concept: exploring fringe corners of internet culture with curiosity, humor, and empathy. While the subject matter occasionally ventured into the bizarre or uncomfortable, the show’s real strength lay in its careful curation, narrative rhythm, fairness to the subject matter, and consistent post-production quality.
In addition to my work on Lou Reads, I’ve been a guest contributor and voice performer on other audio projects, including The F Plus and related spin-offs. These collaborations deepened my experience with remote recording workflows, multi-voice editing, and balancing live vs. pre-recorded elements.
